STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Standard Terms & Conditions (“Standard Terms”) are incorporated into and form an integral part of the Veil & Vine Rental Summary and Booking Agreement (“Rental Summary”).
The Rental Summary contains the event-specific terms applicable to the Renter’s reservation, including the Event Date, Event Type, package or rental selected, rental areas, rental period, contracted fees, payment terms, deposits, and applicable deadlines.
The Standard Terms & Conditions contain the general terms, conditions, rules, policies, requirements, and responsibilities that apply to the Renter’s use of the Veil & Vine property and Event.
The Rental Summary and these Standard Terms & Conditions are intended to be read together and constitute one complete agreement between Veil & Vine, LLC (“Veil & Vine” or “Venue”) and the individual(s) signing the Rental Summary (“Renter” or “Client”).
By signing the Rental Summary, the Renter acknowledges that they have received, reviewed, and agree to be bound by both the Rental Summary and these Standard Terms & Conditions, together with any applicable package descriptions, invoices, addenda, policies, and written amendments incorporated into the agreement.
If there is a conflict between the Rental Summary and these Standard Terms & Conditions regarding an event-specific term, the specific term stated in the Rental Summary will control. Otherwise, these Standard Terms & Conditions will govern.
No verbal statement, phone call, text message, or informal communication will modify the Rental Summary or Standard Terms & Conditions unless the change is confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Veil & Vine.
INCORPORATION OF TERMS
All policies, requirements, deadlines, and responsibilities contained in these Standard Terms & Conditions are conditions of the Renter’s use of the Venue. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all guests, vendors, contractors, members of the wedding party, and other persons associated with the Event comply with the applicable terms and requirements.
Failure to comply with the Rental Summary or these Standard Terms & Conditions may constitute a breach of the agreement and may result in additional charges, forfeiture of deposits, removal of individuals, termination of the Event, or other remedies provided under the agreement.
1. RESERVATIONS & DATE HOLD Reservations are accepted on a first come, first-served basis. A date is not considered reserved, confirmed, or guaranteed until Veil & Vine has received 1. A fully executed Agreement; and 2. The reqired $2,000 non-refundable reservation deposit. Upon receipt of a signed Agreements, Veil & Vine will temporarily hold the requested date for 48 hours to allow the Renter to submit the required deposit. If the deposit is not received within 48 hours, Veil & Vine may, at its sole discretion, release the date and make it available to another prospective client without further notice. Veil & Vine is under no obligation to notify, disclose or otherwise inform the Renter that another person or party has expressed interest in, inquired about or is considering the same date. Until the required deposit has been received and the date has been confirmed by Veil & Vine, the date remains subject to availability.
2. PAYMENT & FEES A $2,000 non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure the event date. Veil & Vine accepts cash and credit card payments. Credit card processing fees, if applicable, will be added to the invoice and are charged by the payment processor. The remaining balance is due according to the following schedule: Standard Payment Schedule - Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the remaining balance must be paid within three (3) months of the accepted contract. Payment Plans - Veil & Vine offers three payment plan options: 1. Monthly payments 2. Quarterly payments 3. Three (3) evenly spaced payments All approved payment plans are subject to a 5% payment -plan service charge. Regardless of the payment schedule selected, the entire remaining balance must be paid no later than six (6) months before the Event Date. Events Booked Within Six Months If the Event Date is less than six (6) months from the date the Agreement is signed, the Renter must pay the remaining balance within ten (10) calendar days of signing the Agreement, unless otherwise approved in writing by Veil & Vine. Failure to make any required payment by its due date may constitute a breach of this Agreement and may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of amounts paid.
3. CLEANING & DAMAGE DEPOSIT A $500 refundable cleaning and damage deposit is required in addition to the rental fees. The deposit will be returned following the event after Veil & Vine has completed its post-event inspection, provided that: - The Venue has been properly cleaned; - No damage has occurred; - No Venue property or equipment is missing; - All rules and policies have been followed; - No unauthorized use or extension of the rental period has occurred; and - No additional cleaning, repair, replacement, or other charges are necessary.
4. RENTER RESPONSIBILITY & GUEST CONDUCT The Renter is responsible for the conduct and actions of all guests, vendors, contractors, members of the wedding party, and any other persons attending or participating in the Event. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all persons associated with the Event comply with this Agreement and all Veil & Vine Wedding & Events Venue rules, policies, and directives. The Renter is also responsible for preventing guests, vendors, contractors, and other persons associated with the Event from entering landscaped, restricted, or unauthorized areas. This includes, but is not limited to, keeping all vehicles off sidewalks, landscaped areas, and other areas not designated for vehicle access. Three-Strike Enforcement - Veil & Vine will generally follow a three-strike enforcement process for violations of this Agreement or Veil & Vine policies: First Violation – Verbal Warning: Veil & Vine will provide a verbal reminder or warning to the Renter or the designated responsible contact regarding the violation and the required corrective action. Second Violation – Removal: Upon a second violation, Veil & Vine may require the individual responsible for the violation to leave the property. The Renter is responsible for assisting Veil & Vine in enforcing the removal of the offending party when requested. Third Violation – Event Termination: Upon a third violation, Veil & Vine may immediately terminate or shut down the Event. No refund, credit, or other compensation will be provided due to termination resulting from violations of this Agreement or Veil & Vine policies. The Renter remains responsible for any applicable damages, cleaning charges, fees, or other amounts owed under this Agreement. Serious or Immediate Violations: Notwithstanding the three-strike process above, Veil & Vine reserves the right to skip any step and immediately remove an individual, stop an activity, terminate the Event, or contact law enforcement when a violation is considered serious, dangerous, threatening, illegal, creates a risk of injury or property damage, involves alcohol or controlled substances, or otherwise presents a significant risk to people, property, or the Venue. The Renter acknowledges that the three-strike policy is intended to provide an opportunity for violations to be corrected, but does not limit Veil & Vine's authority to take immediate action when circumstances warrant.
5. CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES VENUE RENTAL PACKAGES Venue Rental Package clients are responsible for leaving the ENTIRE Venue in the condition in which it was provided. Cleaning responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Removing food spills and debris from floors, walls, and chairs; - Sweeping Pavilion and Bridal Cottage floors; - Removing all trash and debris from the Pavilion, Bridal Cottage, surrounding grounds, and parking areas; - Removing all personal belongings; - Removing all renter-provided equipment and decorations; - Leaving all areas free of food and beverage spills; - Collecting garbage, securing it in appropriate bags, and placing it in the provided dumpster. - Must complete the provided Pavilion and Bridal Cottage Cleaning Checklist SIGNATURE WEDDING PACKAGES Signature Wedding (Full-Service) Package clients remain responsible for removing all personal belongings and completing the required Bridal Cottage cleanup. Bridal Cottage cleanup includes: - Remove all personal belongings; - Wiping all flat surfaces with disinfectant wipes; - Disinfecting bathroom counters; - Cleaning mirrors; - Lint-rolling furniture; - Sweeping and Swiffering floors; and - Removing trash. All personal belongings must be removed from the Venue at the conclusion of the rental period. Only trash generated by the Event may be disposed of in the Veil & Vine dumpster. Disposal of personal household items, construction materials, excessive waste, or other non-event-related materials on Veil & Vine property will result in forfeiture of the entire cleaning and damage deposit and may result in additional charges.
6. CLEANING, DAMAGE, & ADDITIONAL CHARGES Veil & Vine personnel will inspect the premises before and after the Event. The $500 cleaning and damage deposit will be forfeited in whole for violations including, but not limited to: - Renter fails to complete cleaning responsibilities outlined in this agreement - Stains on walls or floors; - Broken furniture or equipment; - Damage or defacement to any portion of the interior or exterior of the Venue; - Damage resulting from improper use of Venue property or equipment; - Failure to comply with Venue rules; - Missing equipment, furniture, décor, or other Venue property; - Unauthorized extension of rental hours; - Human waste of any kind, including vomit, on the property; - Damage to, destruction of, or displacement of landscaping; - Improper disposal of trash; - Disposal of non-event-related materials in the Venue dumpster; or - Any other condition requiring additional cleaning, repair, replacement, or restoration. If the cost of cleaning, repair, replacement, or other damages exceeds the amount of the deposit, the Renter will be responsible for the applicable repair or replacement costs. Veil & Vine may invoice the Renter for additional costs and may pursue collection or other legal remedies if necessary. The Renter may also be responsible for costs associated with the loss of use of the Venue or a subsequent event when such loss is directly caused by damage, excessive cleaning, or other actions attributable to the Renter or persons attending the Event.
7. RENTAL PERIOD & EVENT HOURS The rental period for the Pavilion and Bridal Cottage is: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM The Event itself must conclude no later than 10:00 PM. All music and amplified sound must cease no later than 10:00 PM. The period between 10:00 PM and 12:00 AM is reserved solely for cleanup, removal of personal belongings, and departure from the property. No guests, dancing, entertainment, alcohol service, or other Event activities may continue during the cleanup period. The Renter and all guests must vacate the property no later than 12:00 AM. Unauthorized use of the property beyond the contracted rental period may result in additional charges and/or forfeiture of the cleaning and damage deposit.
8. VENUE RENTAL INCLUSIONS The Venue Rental includes, as applicable to the package purchased: - Use of the Pavilion; - Use of the Bridal Cottage; - Use of the surrounding five (5) acres of designated grounds; - Use of the adjacent parking lot; - Garbage haul-off; - Use of the current inventory of tables and chairs; - Use of the facilities for a rehearsal, subject to availability and advance approval; - Use of the facilities for photographs in the weeks leading up to the Event, subject to availability and advance approval.
9. DECORATIONS GUIDELINES Decorations are permitted provided they comply with all Veil & Vine safety, structural, landscaping, and property-preservation requirements. The following rules apply: - Nothing may be attached to wooden structures using nails, tape, tacks, staples, screws, or other fastening devices. - Renter-provided decorations are permitted but may not damage, alter, or disturb the landscaping or structure. - Open flames are prohibited, including candles, torches, and lanterns, unless expressly approved in writing by Veil & Vine. - No person may climb on Venue structures, including rafters or other elevated structures. - Due to applicable burn restrictions, sparklers, and lanterns must receive written approval from Veil & Vine within seven (7) days of the Event. - Glitter is prohibited. - Any items used for Grand Exit or Send-off must be approved by Veil & Vine. Confetti and rice are prohibited. - The mobile bar, heaters, tables and any additional furniture items owned by Veil & Vine must remain inside the Pavilion at all times. - Chairs may be moved outdoors for a wedding ceremony but must be returned to the Pavilion immediately following the ceremony. - Chairs may not be stored or left outdoors after the ceremony. - No decoration may obstruct exits, fire equipment, walkways, or other safety equipment. - Any décor not approved by Veil & Vine may be required to be removed immediately.
10. VENDOR POLICY All third-party vendors, contractors, entertainers, rental companies, and service providers must comply with Veil & Vine's vendor requirements. Third-party activities and/or entertainment may be required to provide proof of insurance and must be submitted to Veil & Vine for approval prior to the Event. Veil & Vine may require additional contracts, certificates of insurance, waivers, permits, or vendor-specific requirements based upon the nature of the service being provided. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all vendors are aware of and comply with applicable Veil & Vine policies. Veil & Vine reserves the right to deny access to any vendor that has not satisfied Venue requirements.
11. CANCELLATION & POSTPONEMENT All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to Veil & Vine. The cancellation date will be determined by the date Veil & Vine receives the written cancellation request. Cancellation 270 or More Days Before the Event If the Renter cancels the Event 270 or more calendar days before the Event Date, Veil & Vine will refund 50% of the total contracted amount after deduction of the non-refundable deposit, subject to any other amounts properly owed under this Agreement. Cancellation 269-180 Days Before the Event If the Renter cancels the Event 269-180 calendar days before the Event Date, Veil & Vine will refund 30% of the total contracted amount after deduction of the non-refundable deposit, subject to any other amounts properly owed under this Agreement. Cancellation Less Than 180 Days Before the Event If the Renter cancels the Event fewer than 180 calendar days before the Event Date, all amounts previously paid are non-refundable and Renter is obligated to pay the total contracted amount. No verbal statement, phone call, text message, or informal communication constitutes a cancellation unless Veil & Vine confirms receipt and acceptance of the cancellation in writing. The cancellation policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including changes in plans, changes in guest count, illness, travel difficulties, relationship changes, vendor issues, financial circumstances, or other personal circumstances, except where a different remedy is expressly required by applicable law or specifically provided under the Extraordinary Circumstances section of this Agreement. Veil & Vine is not obligated to rebook, resell, or otherwise mitigate the Renter's cancellation in order to provide a refund. Postponements A request to postpone an Event is not an automatic transfer of the reservation. All postponement requests are subject to: - Written request; - Availability of a new date; - Approval by Veil & Vine; - Applicable pricing and package availability; and - Any applicable postponement or administrative fees. A postponed Event may not automatically retain the pricing, package, inclusions, or terms of the original reservation.
12. EXTRAORDINARY CIRCUMSTANCES Normal or seasonal weather conditions do not constitute grounds for cancellation, termination, refund, or postponement. This includes, but is not limited to: Rain; Wind; Heat; Cold; Snow; Smoke; Humidity; or Other ordinary seasonal weather conditions. The Venue will remain available for use during ordinary weather conditions, and the Renter assumes the risk associated with normal weather fluctuations. Extraordinary circumstances are limited to extreme and unforeseeable events that render the Venue legally or physically unsafe, inaccessible, or inoperable. Examples may include: Government-mandated evacuation; Declared state of emergency; War; Wildfire; Earthquake; Flood; Other catastrophic natural disaster; or Similar circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Veil & Vine. If an extraordinary circumstance directly prevents the Event from taking place at the Venue, Veil & Vine may offer the Renter an opportunity to reschedule within twelve (12) months of the original Event Date, subject to Venue availability. Rescheduling is not guaranteed and is subject to the Venue's availability and applicable terms.
13. GENERAL PROPERTY & USAGE RULES The following rules apply to the Renter, guests, vendors, contractors, and all other persons attending the Event: - No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property. - All applicable borough and Venue noise restrictions must be followed. - All music and amplified sound must be completely turned off by 10:00 PM. - All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. - No pets are permitted without express written permission from Veil & Vine. - Landscaping must be preserved. Guests and vendors must remain on designated walkways and approved grassy areas. - The movable bar, heaters, tables, and any additional furniture items owned by Veil & Vine must remain inside the Pavilion. - Chairs may be moved outdoors for the wedding ceremony but must be returned to the Pavilion immediately afterward. - Event tents and canopies require written approval prior to the Event. - Approved tents and canopies must be placed at least 100 feet from any Venue structure, unless otherwise approved in writing. - Grills require written approval prior to the Event and may only be used in the designated grilling area approved by Veil & Vine. - Vehicles must remain in designated parking areas or on designated driveways. - Parking in the driveway is permitted only for loading and unloading. - Vehicles may not be driven or parked on grass, landscaping, or concrete areas that are not designated for vehicle use. - Veil & Vine is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen personal property. - Renter, guests, and vendors must comply with all instructions given by Veil & Vine personnel. - Veil & Vine employees and representatives have authority to enforce all Venue rules and regulations. Violation of this Agreement or Venue policies may result in immediate removal of individuals, termination of the Event, forfeiture of deposits, additional charges, and/or contact with law enforcement when appropriate.
14. EVENT INSURANCE The Renter is required to obtain event liability insurance listing Veil & Vine as an additionally insured. When alcohol will be served, the Renter’s event insurance must include host liquor liability coverage meeting Veil & Vine's requirements. Certificates of insurance and required documentation must be provided to Veil & Vine at least 90 days prior to the Event Date. Failure to provide required insurance documentation may result in the Venue prohibiting the applicable activity or alcohol service. Insurance requirements do not relieve the Renter, guests, vendors, or other responsible parties of any obligations or liability under this Agreement.
15. MISREPRESENTATION The Renter represents that all information provided to Veil & Vine in connection with the Event is complete and accurate. Veil & Vine reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify an Event and/or withhold some or all of the Renter's deposit if the Renter has materially misrepresented information provided to the Venue. Misrepresentation includes, but is not limited to: - Failure to disclose the true nature or purpose of the Event; - Exceeding the permitted guest capacity; - Failure to disclose alcohol service; - Unauthorized or illegal use of alcohol; - Failure to disclose planned activities; - Failure to disclose third-party vendors or entertainment; - Illegal drug use or activity; or - Providing materially false or misleading information on Venue documents. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that the actual Event is consistent with the information provided during booking and planning.
16. ALCOHOL POLICY Veil & Vine does not sell, provide, or dispense alcohol. Bartender Requirement - All alcoholic beverages must be under the supervision and control of the contracted, approved, insured bartender at all times. The Renter is responsible for contracting directly with a Veil & Vine-approved bartender selected from the Veil & Vine Preferred Bartender Vendor List. The Renter must submit the name of the bartending company and proof of required liquor liability insurance to Veil & Vine at least 90 days prior to the Event Date. If the required documentation is not received by the deadline, alcohol will not be permitted at the Event. Alcohol Service Requirement - When alcohol is permitted at an Event, all alcohol must be brought onto the Veil & Vine property and delivered directly to the approved bartender. An approved bartender from the Veil & Vine Preferred Bartender Vendor List must be onsite and present at the time alcohol is delivered. Alcohol may not be delivered, dropped off, or left unattended on the property in the absence of the approved bartender. All alcohol must be served exclusively by the approved bartender. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all alcohol service complies with Veil & Vine’s Alcohol Policies and all applicable laws and regulations. Failure to abide by Veil & Vine’s Alcohol Policies may result in immediate termination of alcohol service and/or removal from the property, without refund. Alcohol Service Rules - No cash bars are permitted. - Self-service alcohol is prohibited. - Guests may not dispense alcohol themselves. - All bottled alcohol, poured alcohol, toasts, and other alcohol service must remain under bartender supervision. - Alcohol may not be brought onto the property for self-service. - No shots are permitted. - No kegs are permitted. - All alcoholic beverages must be served in compliance with applicable Alaska law. - Alcohol may not be served to or consumed by anyone under 21 years of age. - Alcohol may not be removed from the property during the Event. - The bartender must refuse service to any person who is visibly intoxicated or otherwise should not be served. - Last call will occur 45 minutes before the end of the Event and no later than 9:15 PM, whichever occurs first. Last call must be strictly observed. - Signature drinks or specialty mixed drinks must be submitted to and approved by Veil & Vine management in advance. - Veil & Vine reserves the right to prohibit any particular drink, serving method, or alcohol-related activity. - Drunk, disorderly, threatening, or unsafe behavior is prohibited. The Renter acknowledges that they are responsible for ensuring that alcohol service at the Event complies with applicable Alaska laws and Venue requirements. If alcohol use becomes unsafe, excessive, unlawful, or otherwise problematic, Veil & Vine may, at its sole discretion, require alcohol service to cease and/or terminate the Event immediately. Failure to comply with the Alcohol Policy may result in immediate termination of the Event, removal of individuals from the property, forfeiture of deposits, and additional charges. Guest Conduct & Renter Responsibility - The Renter is responsible for the conduct and actions of all guests, vendors, contractors, members of the wedding party, and other persons attending or participating in the Event. The Renter is responsible for ensuring that all persons associated with the Event comply with this Agreement, Veil & Vine’s Alcohol Policies, and all Venue rules and policies. Drunken, disorderly, threatening, disruptive, or unsafe conduct is strictly prohibited. Any individual who engages in such conduct may be required to leave the Event and the Veil & Vine property immediately. Veil & Vine reserves the right to require the removal of any individual whose behavior, in the Venue’s sole discretion, is inappropriate, disruptive, intoxicated, threatening, or creates a safety concern to himself/herself or others. If drunken or disorderly conduct occurs, Veil & Vine reserves the right to immediately terminate alcohol service for the remainder of the Event, regardless of whether the conduct was caused by the Renter, a guest, vendor, member of the wedding party, or any other person associated with the Event. The Renter acknowledges that they are responsible for the behavior of their guests and Event participants and agrees to cooperate fully with Veil & Vine staff and the approved bartender in addressing any alcohol-related or behavioral concerns. Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal of individuals from the property, immediate termination of alcohol service, termination of the Event, forfeiture of deposits, and additional charges as permitted under this Agreement.
17. NOISE POLICY Veil & Vine is located within an area subject to applicable borough noise restrictions. All music and amplified sound must be completely turned off by 10:00 PM. Speakers must be positioned only in Venue-approved locations. The Venue's maximum allowable noise level is 50 decibels at the property line. Veil & Vine personnel may conduct a pre-event sound check with the Renter, DJ, band, or sound provider to establish appropriate sound levels. Veil & Vine personnel will monitor sound levels throughout the Event. Violation - If sound exceeds the permitted level, Veil & Vine may require the music or amplified sound to be reduced or turned off immediately. A violation may result in: - Immediate cessation of music; - A $500 noise violation fee; - Termination of the Event; and/or - Removal of attendees from the property. The Renter acknowledges that compliance with the Venue's noise requirements is a condition of the Event.
18. PLANNING POLICIES & REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION To ensure that Veil & Vine can properly prepare for each Event, the following planning deadlines apply: Final Guest Count and Floor Plan - The final guaranteed guest count and floor plan are due four (4) weeks prior to the Event Date. Enhancements & Upgrades - No package upgrades, enhancements, or significant changes may be added within six (6) weeks of the Event Date, unless Veil & Vine expressly approves the request. Veil & Vine cannot guarantee availability of additional services, rentals, décor, staffing, food, or other enhancements requested after applicable deadlines. Additional charges may apply to approved changes. Required Documentation - FOR VENUE RENTAL PACKAGE CLIENTS ONLY - All Venue Rental clients are required to complete and return the Veil & Vine Documentation Packet provided by the Venue. The completed Documentation Packet must be submitted to Veil & Vine no later than four (4) weeks prior to the Event Date. Failure to submit the required documentation by the deadline may result in delays, restrictions, or the inability to provide certain Venue services or accommodations.
19. EVENT TERMINATION & ENFORCEMENT Veil & Vine reserves the right to immediately terminate an Event if the Renter, guest, vendor, contractor, or other attendee: - Violates this Agreement; - Violates Venue rules; - Engages in illegal activity; - Creates a dangerous or unsafe environment; - Engages in threatening, violent, abusive, or disorderly conduct; - Violates the Alcohol Policy; - Violates the Noise Policy; - Damages Venue property; - Exceeds the Venue's capacity; - Uses the Venue for an undisclosed or unauthorized purpose; or - Otherwise creates circumstances that, in the reasonable judgment of Veil & Vine personnel, threaten the safety, property, staff, guests, or continued operation of the Venue. In such circumstances, Veil & Vine may require guests to leave, terminate the Event, contact law enforcement or emergency services, and/or take other reasonable action to protect people and property. Termination of an Event due to a violation of this Agreement does not entitle the Renter to a refund. The Renter remains responsible for applicable damages, cleaning costs, fees, and other amounts owed under this Agreement.
20. PERSONAL PROPERTY Veil & Vine is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or abandoned personal property belonging to the Renter, guests, wedding party members, vendors, contractors, or other attendees. The Renter is responsible for removing all personal property and renter-provided items before leaving the property. Any property left behind may be disposed of, stored, or otherwise handled at Veil & Vine's discretion, and the Renter may be responsible for associated costs.
21. SOCIAL MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY The Renter acknowledges that Veil & Vine may photograph or record the Venue, décor, Event setup, and general Event environment for marketing, advertising, social media, portfolio, website, and promotional purposes, subject to applicable law. Any specific guest or individual who does not wish to appear in promotional imagery should communicate that request directly to Veil & Vine in writing prior to the Event. Veil & Vine does not guarantee that individuals will not appear incidentally in photographs or videos captured during the Event.
22. ENTIRE AGREEMENT The Rental Summary and Standard Terms & Conditions, together with any applicable signed addenda, invoices, package descriptions, Venue policies, and written amendments expressly incorporated into the agreement, constitute the complete agreement between Veil & Vine, LLC (“Veil & Vine” or “Venue”) and the Renter regarding the Event. The Rental Summary establishes the event-specific terms of the reservation, while the Standard Terms & Conditions establish the general terms, conditions, policies, rules, requirements, and responsibilities applicable to the Event. Both documents are incorporated into and form part of the same agreement. By signing the Rental Summary, the Renter acknowledges and agrees to comply with all applicable provisions of the Standard Terms & Conditions. Any amendment or modification to the agreement must be made in writing and approved by an authorized representative of Veil & Vine. Verbal representations or agreements that are not included in the agreement or confirmed in writing by an authorized Veil & Vine representative will not modify its terms. Veil & Vine reserves the right to establish reasonable operational policies necessary for the safety, security, maintenance, and proper operation of the Venue. Any such changes will be communicated to the Renter in writing and will be effective as of the date specified in the notice.
23. RENTER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT By signing the Rental Summary, the Renter acknowledges that they: - Have read this Agreement in its entirety; - Understand the terms and conditions; - Agree to comply with all Veil & Vine policies and requirements; - Understand that they are responsible for their guests, vendors, contractors, and other Event participants; - Understand the cancellation and payment policies; - Understand the Venue's alcohol requirements; - Understand the Venue's noise restrictions; - Understand the Event end time and cleanup requirements; and - Agree to be financially responsible for applicable damages, cleaning, repairs, replacement costs, fees, and other charges arising from violations of this Agreement.
